Grabl is designed to minimise data collection. We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the Website andapplication.
When you visit https://grabl.appa we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website (e.g. pagesvisited, referral source, approximate location, device/browser type, time spent on pages). Google Analytics usescookies and similar technologies to collect this information.
If your jurisdiction requires it, a cookie consent banner is shown on first visit allowing you to accept or decline nonessential cookies, including analytics cookies.
When you activate, validate, or deactivate a Grabl Pro license, the following data is sent to Lemon Squeezy (ourpayment and licensing provider):

We do not store this data ourselves. License validation occurs at activation and periodically (approximately every 48hours) to confirm the license remains valid. A 7-day offline grace period applies if validation cannot be reached.
When you manually check for updates within Grabl, the application contacts our update server (hosted on CloudflareR2) to fetch update metadata (version number and download URL). No personal data is transmitted in this request.
The Website contains links that direct you to Lemon Squeezy to complete a purchase. When you click "Buy" or"Purchase License," you leave the Website and any payment information (name, email, card details, billing address) iscollected and processed directly by Lemon Squeezy under their own Privacy Policy. We do not see or store yourpayment details.
After purchase, Lemon Squeezy provides you with a license key, which you then enter into the App (see Section 1.1 for how the key itself is used).
Grabl allows you to upload files to third-party cloud providers (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox). These uploadshappen directly from your device to the cloud provider using rclone, an open-source tool that runs locally on yourmachine. Your files do not pass through our servers at any point.
OAuth credentials for connected cloud accounts are stored locally on your device in a configuration file and are nevertransmitted to us.

All files, settings, and preferences managed by Grabl are stored locally on your device. We have no access to thisdata.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described in Section 2.1 (LemonSqueezy, for license processing).

License instance data is retained by Lemon Squeezy for as long as your license is active. Deactivating your licenseremoves the device instance record. Refer to Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for full retention details.
Grabl is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://grabl.io and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of Grabl after changes constitutes acceptance of the updatedpolicy.
